I must have faith
That this will work out.
I must have faith,
Must have no doubt.

I must believe
We will not be torn apart
That you won’t leave.
I must believe this in my heart.

I worry, though,
That the time and space will hurt.
Because of this,
My love for you I must assert.

I need to know
Our relationship will stay strong.
I really don’t want to go,
But my obligations force me to.
Hopefully, it won’t be long.

We have been through so much,
And felt so many things.
I don’t want to lose touch,
Yet the time and space stings.
