Endless refrains, a song of love
May echo past time's boundaries,
Some may revive those feelings that
A broken heart failed to release.

Sometimes a melody just returns
Brings a moment like in a trance,
An image comes, for whom one yearns-
With it, regrets of Love's missed chance.

Songs and music are life's soundtrack,
Take us to places in our mind.
Days of youth, memories flow back,
Those were the days that songs remind.
