Movie Kiss Poem by Mitchell Hood

Movie Kiss

I still remember that night we went to the movies
My mouth was dry, my heart was pounding, tension flowing through me
I'd never kissed a girl before and this seemed the time and place
Your lips looked oh so tempting, resting on your gorgeous face
The movie was ending, the pressure was on and I decided it was time
I leaned over, you did too and your lips met with mine
My heart pounded harder still, tension still flowing through me
Romance lives forever, my dear, in that night we went to the movies
