Change
I say with ease
Until it stops me dead in my tracks
Unprovoked and uncalled for
I stop and take a deep breath
Reflect
Accept
Accept I say!
Not so easy
When my trail is lost
Fear stops me from moving forward
I panic and retrace my steps
Why am I back here again!
Foolishly, I cling to what I know
Let go,
Let go
I'm looking forward
Step forward!
But I am not moving
I haven't moved in days
I just stand here, staring forward
Staring backwards
Staring aimlessly
Move forward!
Step forward
One at a time
One day at a time
One day
I will start
