Mottey Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Mottey

My name is Mottey and i am your lover,
But you are the barefooted sunday-blues at the beach side.
I will always pray for you inside me and,
Hope to meet you soon at the beach;
For you are the honey of the rose needed in my room.
I am the like the primerose of the living on this love,
And like the calypso around you;
For you are the only one very dear to my heart.
A pretty girl at hand is like the Sweet Melody;
And, you are the lady of the moonlight.
