Mother Indian Tiger Poem by Denis Martindale

Mother Indian Tiger

She was a stunning sight to see,
With powers all her own,
Outshining all the scenery,
Just walking there alone.
Yet Nature purposed her to breed,
For new life to exist
And Nature knew how to succeed
For species to persist.

And so it comes as no surprise,
Once we are in the know,
That one day there, before her eyes,
A suitor said hello.
Then life began inside of her,
Until one sunny morn,
When life within began to stir
Until the cubs were born.

That day was like no other day,
It was a miracle,
With feelings Nature caused to stay
And never leave at all.
This miracle of life was theirs,
Their time of destiny,
And worthy of a thousand prayers,
Including some from me.
