Morning Star Poem by the Nickster

Morning Star

Looking back on yesterday, I see some things that need to change
In my life of twenty-one years, there were times of quiet tears
For experiences that should not have been-I wish to God that He would send
An angel of amazing power who could wash away the hours
Of the time spent in pain and misery.

Now, my eyes are opened and my pain is here no more
Because I gave it to the Master-the God of peace & tranquility
And, He told me, 'It is finished; your pain has been removed.
Whenever you might need me-just know that I'm not far
Just speak the Word and call me for I am your Morning Star'.
