More Deeply Than Intercourse Poem by Uriah Hamilton

More Deeply Than Intercourse

Rating: 5.0

Strange,
The weird, illogical way
Of friendship.

Sometimes,
There is jealousy and rage
In the pursuit of a woman,
Sinister calculations of murder.

Sometimes,
An unshakable brotherhood ensues
After sexual relations
With the same woman.

Maybe,
It is merely the dark, feminine magic
Penetrating the soul
More deeply than intercourse.

Men are just suckers... just kidding I really love this one, so true that this phenominom happens where a woman is involved. Deep poem. Thanks, I got to remember to check up on you more often, I miss your poetry... Lee

The polarities are necessary - conflict and consummation - dark and light. Some wise words here. - Will
