Moon And Echo



I figured out your shadows, in the dark of this night;

Distinct, sharp and individual within a shining light

Like the moon rises overarching darkness,

Slipping to a crescent, shrinking again to momentary dark

And dispelling the unlit, then coming back to shine

And thus I wait for you thru night to dawn.
