Monsoon Vista Poem by Jaipal Singh

Monsoon Vista

It's so serene
It's so cleansing
It's so rejuvenating
There is nothing so pleasant
Than early showers of monsoon.

It's so thrilling
To watch plants and grass
Lively with instant green
And dusty roads and lanes
Taking an emerald hue.

What a rainy morning
With a cloud heavy sky
The floating grey clouds
Making claps of thunder
And a heavy downpour!

A rainy July afternoon
With ribbons of mist hanging
Clouds flattening with moisture
Puddles rippling with falling rain
On tapestry of plains, sea and mountain.

On a rain drenched evening
Sunset looks so ethereal
Luminous clouds light up
Presenting the dreamy vistas
In a moist and dust free environment.

Romancing with spirit of season
Monsoon scrubs the landscape
Making so pleasant and picturesque
Wet plants and trees sway joyously
With the blowing gentle breeze.
