Money Isn'T Everything Poem by Marisa Nelson

Money Isn'T Everything

Her dad was a drug dealer
And her mom was a druggie
Fights were and everyday thing
And there was not a quiet moment in the house
Everyday she would lock herself in her room
While the music blasted
Her life wasn't all that bad
She got everything she ever wanted
But everything still seemed empty
Because money can't buy everything
