Money Deception! Poem by Denis Martindale

Money Deception!

Lord Jesus mentioned Caesar's face, that was on coins back then,
Of loyalty that was in place, demanded of all men.
Yet God has tokens of respect nobody should ignore,
Commandments we must not reject, when God outlines each law.
With Bible tales we should announce for all the truths they hold,
And history has its accounts, accounts worth more than gold.
We know that Judas once sold out and Jesus paid the price,
Though crucified, Christ must hold out, awaiting Paradise.

The Last Days come upon us now, before the Lord's return,
And to false gods we need not bow, but steadfastly discern.
Some sell their souls for food or cash, three wishes, so to speak,
Yet why on Earth are they so rash when each lost soul's unique?
Lord Jesus died, each soul to save, to open Heaven's Gates,
God's Royal Pardon, sins to waive, and this the devil hates.
Beware deceptions great or small, despite life's toils and strife,
So that your name God will install in His Lamb's Book of Life!
