Moments Before Death Poem by Rex rex

Moments Before Death

Rating: 5.0

Seconds before I got to the ground,
Time started slowing down.
Seconds before the poison kicked in,
Hazy memories flashed before my eyes.
Seconds before I started drowning,
My whole body felt numb.
Seconds before I pulled the trigger,
I hear my parents calling 'Son'.
And Seconds before I was going to die
I lost my will to die.

Seconds before I pulled the trigger, I hear my parents calling 'Son'. And Seconds before I was going to die I lost my will to die..........the ending was very positive. it is shines positive especially in the context of the negatives u wrote before.......... you are playing with contrasts in your poem. a wonderful technik.. tony
