Missing You Poem by Duard Cabral

Missing You

buried within the passing of time
shallow tears overflowing
oblivious to your soul
shed great fears
under the dimlit moon
casting shadows over shadows
uttered never again
but then yet again
why too soon
that the leaves fall on spring
as the season swing
undoubtedly
out of timing
out of balance
dire
in a mere glance
fragments of flashback
of your devious smile
attracts the fragile heart
a rack of broken tile
holding the inevitable
a slit through the window pane
spent solitary nights
of whats left
denying the definite
but thats all there is
all of me
is simply missing you

Feeling your grief, I invite you to read two of my most recent poems, Say Goodbye In Pink Satin, and Flowers From A Funeral, written after a friend's passing...knowing the heart wholeheartedly misses those we hold dear. Powerful the emotions you expelled....PEACE
