Missing pieces of a life that was taken away in a violent
way, leaving nothing but a numb and deadened being, not
wanting to keep going.

Wanting to quit and walk away, leaving everything in piles
of trash to be picked up by the garbage truck, not seeing
any way to pick up the pieces.

Just being numb and going interiorly to hide throughout
life, never wanting to come out again because the feel-
ings and emotions would erode from the inside out.
