Misplaced Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Misplaced

I should've held on
fought a little harder
time given me chances
and several romances
would not compare
something so tender, infinite passion
would be found there

i've given up the novelty
but you were someone of quality
and once the spark have vanished
life became a little hard to manage
day by day found myself crying
something was very wrong
my heart turned up missing
the only way i'd find
is if i look to where i left it last
