Misanthropic Humanfolks! Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Misanthropic Humanfolks!

The despotic conqueror of this world,
Corona, has made the people misanthropes!
To bury the dead kin, they aren't bold
and the god of death needn't hurl the noose or ropes.

No symptoms! Yet the fever quickly rises
and in a day or two the strings of life crack!
Corona-holocaust beats all the vices.
Siddha saints 'lone had the knack for it to track.

The youths swear to die a hundred times
to win theitlove facing all the odds.
But a single death nods not funeral rhymes
and to trace it, scratch their heads mighty gods!

The Law of Nature between good and bad seemsa farce
as Covid strikes the child and old in a way so harsh.
