Miraculous Events! Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

A baby delivered in the toilet
and flushed down into the sewage tank
was fortunate to see the smiling face of Death.
The ambulance driver guessed the event
from the mother's words, admitted with empty womb,
rushed there and stepped in after two hours
and found the baby floating in the tank alive,
crying and gasping for breath!
The driver scooped out the infant
and laid it beside her mother in the hospital.
The infant watched the several faces around
watching her with admiration.
The miracle happened in the Central Province
in India to make the world falling in wonder.

A two-year old boy, Chandra Sekhar,
fell into a 20-ft deep borewell.
The police, disaster management,
medical and the revenue teams
of Andhra State battled for eleven hours
to save the life of the boy.
A robotic hand failed to pull the boy out.
They dugged a parallel pit,
stopped the child from slipping down further
by filling the bore with mud,
supplied oxygen into the borewell
and the smiling little boy was emerging out.
The people around broke into cheers!
