The eyes are often described
As mirrors to our soul
Reflecting cluster of emotion
A story to unfold

Behind the persona of a smile
Hidden deep within the eyes
Disguising pain and sadness
So no tears are cried

Then there's love and passion
Eyes crinkling in a smile
Radiating joy and happiness
In order to beguile

Organ of beauty and colour
Like music so vast the range
Age may wrinkle the surface
But the eyes they do not change
