Mirrors Poem by Lauren Secret

Mirrors

Rating: 3.5

It's funny how a mirror helps a girl,
Not only does it help her see her lashes curl,
But lets her world around her unfurl,
Looking in her eyes,
She has no disguise.

Have you ever sat and watched her.
I have.
I looked deep into her eyes when she was crying,
She dodges everybodies prying.
She watches her tears make the white tracks in her foundation.
She applies it again.
She places on a smile.
Covers it all up.
And she walks away,
For another fake happy day.
