Mirror And Truth Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Mirror And Truth

Rating: 5.0

Mirror spoke
And offered stroke
With severe jolt
As it proved blue from bolt

What was he looking like?
Quite contrary and disliked
By himself when exposed
To the mirror and supposed

The people are telling lies
Why should he be drawn in their tales and believe?
Mirror showed him way
The truth was far from away

He was devil
Passed out as pupil
Real culprit and successful cheater
The people were fool in this world theatre

Yet he thought mirror could tell
What was right and revealed
But alas! What is seen is illusory
There is need to be called for advisory

You are best judge
There should be inner urge
You know it well and where are heading
The world you believe is totally misleading
