Minute Poem by Tiernan Booth

Minute

The clock is ticking, earth is spinning,
At a speed that's inconvenient,
Life is losing all it's meaning,
I'm afraid of no longer feeling!
Feeling afraid of feeling afraid,
Of feelings I'm afraid I can't say!
But the feelings aren't fake!
I don't know about you but it's testing my limits,
I need the world to stand still for a minute.
Everything ends,
It ends because of time,
Time stops on the dime,
That's a wonderful rhyme,
It's got quite the chime!
But rhyming's a crime!
It takes to much time,
Is it a sign,
To stop!
I know that's it's testing all of our limits,
We all just need time to stop for a minute.

Life is losing all it's meaning, Feeling afraid of feeling afraid, I need the world to stand still for a minute....// Though, time is only a dimension, it is never an active player in our day to day life. It's nice to read a philosophical thought being examined here. Thanks.
