Millennium Snake Poem by wayne bright

Millennium Snake

Well,
Ive gone and done it again
Lost another girlfriend
The millennium snakes unsmitten
A lust that didn't last
A love gone to fast
The millennium snake has bitten
I know the cause
And I know the cure
Is it a step that's worth taking
The snakes coiled tight
Shes ready to strike
Its a lifestyle I would be breaking
The wheel of life keeps rolling on
Shed your skin and move along
one more chance to claim my stake
Destiny is riding on the millennium snake
