Time has snatched away
even that faint smile
Between you n me
It has put miles n miles


I thought what all I craved for
The future held it all
But never knew I ll have to beg for
Even a moment of joy so small

Is this the way of God
Whom benevolent we call

The flames of miles
Engulfed our love
Was this the verdict
Of the skies above

They say love gives us strength
To shatter obstacles big n small
How could life defeat us then
When they say love conquers all…
