Midnight Bride Poem by Joseph Anthony Montefusco

Midnight Bride

When the clock tolls twelve,
After the sun subsides,
No longer do you belong to him
You become my midnight bride

Within the shadows I'm yours
In body, spirit, and mind,
Yet my heart, soul, and love
In darkness you will find

But when the sun arises
Our dark souls fail to shine
Because you go back to him
Until midnight - when you are mine.
