A Dying Flower Poem by Joseph Anthony Montefusco

A Dying Flower

Rating: 5.0

A once beautiful flower
Full of fruits and dreams
Now wilts away
From environmental srceams

Pedal follows pedal
Onto earth turned metal
Dissipation of the greens

Once pointed sunward
Now bloked by the giants
Losing all direction
And turning toward science

Not knowing what's real
Not knowing how to feel
Dying in the age of compliance.
