Metaphor Poem by PARTHA SARATHI PAUL

Metaphor

More than often our tongues water
At the sight of any forbidden fruit.
Strangely enough, we never dread such a danger
Nor do we feel the sure peril that unfolds little later.
Maybe just because it`s hard to ignore when fate beckons;
Too very hard not to answer the knock on all the inside doors.
