Metamorphosis

Open you come
out of the storm
With a new meaning
in a new form
The wind tried to tear you
The lightning tried to strike
These memories will be the ones
you will never like

But when you will leave
you'll leave with a pride
You will come new
glad that you tried
You will be alive
You'll stand in the light
You'll have Fortune on your side...

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
