Memories Poem by Danette Frenz

Memories

Bad memories…do they erase the good?
We laughed, we teased, we cried, we loved.
How many memories we created, unlike any,
All of the above.
I felt your hug, So warm and snug.
But I felt your words that stung so hard.
I hurt you…I lied, but said sorry and even goodbye.
The memories we created was like no other.
I will keep them in my heart, tucked away, from the start.
I love each and every one…good and bad…because
Just because.
