Memories.
The Outram Ghat,
A small dinghy,
Oars, kissing the waters by.
Ray drops of gold,
Melting away,
Colouring the river by.
Gentle wind,
Calm, balm of nature.
Caressing the bosom,
Shivering waters run by.
On the flat mass of Ganges,
Ripples of memories,
Consecutive,
Tireless,
Reverberate.
Resonate.
Aquatic melody,
Mellifluous, gurgling,
Through ages gone by.
