Memorial Day Poem by Randy McClave

Memorial Day

On the graves we place the flowers
Where brave soldiers rests and never cowers,
For our country they bravely served and died
They are truly, American pride,
Soldiers served without fear or regret
To protect our country without worries or fret,
When Uncle Sam needed proud Americans to serve
They enlisted or were drafted for freedom to preserve,
To the soldiers who heard our nations call
Then for our way of life and freedom they did fall,
Upon your graves, flowers and a flags we will place;
Then we will look upon Liberty's face.
