Mementos Poem by Marika Kartozia

Mementos

Resuscitating body and soul of anguished fate
Breathing dejected air, from perversed human race
Disrobing levity of life and laces of psycho games
Unrestrained hidden transgressions and fusion of drama days
Damages entire being, attacks the inner soft skin of my face
Its just like cold, relentless downpour, from the gaze
Terror reflected in my eyes, mementos shake
Latent thoughts suckle brain, probe my rage
Divine music in poisoned seclusion, helps and takes
All my battles, fermantations and tattered faith
Put off garments of life with indelible marks and say
Sheepish me, flaunting in opaque blank verse
And still, I have found hope, but it is insufficient
I have found way to inflame heart, but trigger`s wet
I need to ponder my ideas, but mind is mad
Face to face with life, it is hard to tell
