Meet Me Before Leaving Poem by Sankar Sarkar

Meet Me Before Leaving

Rating: 5.0

Don't forget to meet me before leaving
I have some unfinished talk to you
We need to sit together before ours
Let's try to repair the broken tissues on issues
We spent and endured each other year after year
As sour, sweet, and salted as spices in life
Through the sun and rains under the same roof …..
We explored together countless worlds
In a bit of tear, however, it is smile and guile!
Yet we are flowing like a rill silently
Is it not enough for a couple in these hectic days?
We felt utmost ecstasy in every heartbeat and breath
Beyond explaining in words!
We were a couple like a couplet
We are still a couple in a purple
We are better than the half-done like better-half
We together pulling the cord of the discord yet
We don't want to be the best in the cosmetic
We are the best in our nest like the guest in cosmic
Don't foam in ire like hearth

Be calm! Look at me, let sores cure by the balm of love
That strewn like pearls in the haunted heart
They are more precious than the modern luster
Let wounded mind heal by their influx ray
Let your feeling mend by itself like the bark,
And hug me to your haggard breast to consume vigor
To cover the journey in keeping abreast of together,
And let me our loving touch on every petal of dust!
