Meant To Be Poem by joseph juarez

Meant To Be

As i rest from endless crying, filled with sadness i feel like dieing
from the words i hear from her, told that i am nothing
nothing to this pusedo-respectful life, my verbal ways fill her with spite
but her painful words fill her with glee, the pain from her she cannot see
so i sit upon the inquiry is this who im meant to be...

so when shes gone i sit and wonder, if my ways will bring under
and should rid myself of the infections that molded me
though she says some awful things, the truth is there within the seams
so in my mind the inquiry, of how this madness came to be
is this who im meant to be...

though some actions do have reasons, but truth to her is act of treason
that the pain we suffer is from both our tyranny
were both to blame for love gone bad id do anything for love we had
we both are horrible and equally mean, so i sit and ask the inquiry
is this who im meant to be...

remembering days of how it was, our perfect desirable endless love
now rotted away like a garden left untouched
makes no sense on who to blame, the fighting brings us both to shame
in a home of vile misery, a love thats turned to tyranny
i ponder on the inquiry is this who im meant to be...

our verbal fighting has no end, a messege both we try to send
while smuthered by the dangerous deadly sin of pride,
no one stops to admit the wrong, a endless fight to be prolonged
both to weak to just say sorry, and to get the hatchet to go bury
still no answer for the inquiry of was this who im meant be

Thought provoking poem. I can relate to love lost and turned to hate.
