Me And My Raven Poem by Cristian Carcu

Me And My Raven

One day my raven stoped me at this world's gate.
He flew around and whispered in my brain:
"All the roads that you will walk this life,
Will end, eventually, inside your heart.
So...be aware of your night! "

The strings of my life began to sing.
And so I heard the story of my mind.
It walked the forests, the mountains and the skies,
And always falled into my eyes.
"But where are those eyes that make me cry
When I see the beauty of my mind's so long and winding story?
Are they in the stars?
Or near the blind fish trapped in the eternal lack of light?

"They are mine! "
Said the raven dancing in my heart.
