*masquerade Ball* Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

*masquerade Ball*

Rating: 5.0

What is this?
A masquerade 'cross the sky?

Where the clouds cover the Moons Full face -
And the rainbows, colour-tint our eyes?

Sending out candy kisses -
A million and one stars, to shine -

Floating 'cross the atmosphere -
'Tis a good friend of mine.

The Galaxy 'tis wide open -
The door 'tis left ajar -

No Keepers of The Gates -
No more, wandering star -

A Masquerade in The Solar System?
Super Nova's and Meteorites-a glimpse, to a show?

A dance, amongst, the Milky Way -
Upon a Shooting Star, and it's off, we go!
