Masquerade Poem by A Dark Lifetime ...

Masquerade

Everyone has their own lies
So stupid so rough
They hide them behind innocent eyes
Like that wasnt bad enough
Im all alone in this
But I cant escape, no I cant runaway
Its allways been like it is
Give me a invatation today

The huge doors
Open and let me in
Shadows dancing on the floor
Pretend I'm theirs, that I allways have been

There is no such thing as pure
There is no such thing as true
There is no such thing as mine or yours
In a world of lies
In a world of purple, white and blue

Everyone, so colourful
Dancing on their own grave
Everyone, act so cool
There's no one that is so brave
Brave enough to tell them all
Brave enough to change ous all
Brave enough to to stan tall
But no one is so lets go fall

The huge doors
Closed and locked forever
Lies dancing on the floor
I wont get out of here, never

There is no such thing as pain
There is no such thing of what you want to be
There is no such thing as rain
And there is no such thing as me

Do you see?
Its all a lie
Its all a dance

Do you even recognize me?
We never cry
We never take another chance

There is no such thing as face
No such thing as eyes, lips or nose
There is no such thing as grace
Not even skin, flesh or bones

When we all dance

When we all cry

We have our masks...

Just dont ask why...
