Lullaby Poem by A Dark Lifetime ...

Lullaby

Rating: 5.0

End a fire who burns for truth
An awful desire to drain youth
And an ocean who cant control its waves
Pushed away to something you hate
Mermaids sing again for real
Drown the sailors who no longer feels
Sing a song about a end
Where a child kills its imaginary friend
Swim to the deepest cove
Where you find true love
Somewhere there is a child that cries
For the friends that always dies
Somewhere you can hear them sing
Tails and poison, don't feel a thing
City of glass and bones of stones
Faith restored and death alone
Goodbye, goodbye oh child goodbye
Sleep well under a dark lullaby

Na na na na na na na na na na

Bye bye
Swim away
Bye bye
Unseen they stay

Na na na na na na na na na na...

i think this is one of the best of your dear Jelena.it has both musical sound and also wonderful meaning. several thing i have to say. first you absolutely right.there had been so many wars in the world.maybe they began to spread the truth but at last its fire burnt the world and so many died.it maight be begun because of truth but it changed to the hatred. second i feel both feeling of hope and despondency to gether.the contradiction is really great.and you have combined two feelings together.the hope is in the middle verses where we may find love in a cove but the poem ends with despondency. any way i can say all the beginnings do not come to end for a little child to sing about the end. i can not say which line i love more.the whole poem is superb. muchas gracias~nb
