Masked In A Crowd Poem by Candy Simpson

Masked In A Crowd

Rating: 2.7

As I wonder through the crowd
I see you with your head bowed
I come and say Hello
Then your face it can’t be so
You’re the man who ruined my life
When you got another wife
I know you have three kids too
But only one of them is to you
You’re the man I can’t recognize
But I remembered you when I looked in your eyes
You look awful, probably drunk
Then behind you, you carry a trunk
What has happened? I don’t care!
Even though I probably stare
If it was you would do the same
But you’re my Farther you tend to claim
For your life you should be ashamed
