Mashedup Poem by AlissaMarie Unknown

Mashedup

Sink to the bottom like a cannonball
Screaming inside wasn't good enough
Anything to hide the pain for a little while
Voices clear as the sun shines bright
Words sent on a silent breeze
Mind darker consumed by the abyss
Broken first ran out of every reason defending a claim taken by abuse the bottom of the bottle never felt so mistrust.
Outburst left scars never felt too angry as blood splashes to the concrete
How to get through it all
Stems back on a day so clear to a child lost before an actual thought
Layered like a blanket stems a flower burned years of mistrust
Seen the light a hand offered weight lifts a genuine smile indeed
What a life laid out before thee
