Loss Poem by AlissaMarie Unknown

Loss

Night met day years ago
When the moon wasn’t so blue
Stars shinning bright two clashed
Together not sure on what to do
Curiosity fresh in the youngling’s minds
Combining two elements
Satisfaction bodies stuck glued
Hooked like a fish opportunities
Taken down separate roads meeting
Once in awhile memories made
Heart never skipped a beat
Miles apart life went on sharing
New with old identities changed
Stars began to dim bad times
Occurred history repeating itself
Joy ride ends in nightmare
Moon turns blue
A star diminished
Call made lights went out
Bottom of the bottle
Life at a halt shedding tears
body trembles unsatisfied
flying solo from here on out.
