Martyr Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Martyr

Eldorado eyes full of democracy
You walk like a dream amidst demons
Nobility of trampled religion
All the broken lust the evil
Your lecture on freedom a dismal angel
Leaders like Joseph Campbell
Vermouth blankets of carnage
Ideals can be lofty ravens

Wolencraft mountains with dead poets
We travel with the visionary lost
Your Lethe path follows the doom of time
I have left your ancient city
City where blue eyelids writhe in temptation
War is your evolved premonition
Zarathustra taught you to doubt
Now, the great myths bring hades

The earth is your martyr
