Man Is.. Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

How can we define good man?
Who can be called worthy human?
Generally we go by standard practice
With hope of noble feature and promises

It is believed that man is wild by nature
It is inherent in each individual for sure
Only man is not disclosing his real intent
But those cruel intentions will be present

As son is known from first day of his birth
New bride will be known when she sets forth
Person may still become known by his behavior
It is up to person to earn grace or dishonor

It is belief that wealth may grow
It may double if donation is allowed to flow
The charity begins at home
Strangers should be always welcome

The tradition says that hungry should be offered food
The peace should be maintained in the neighborhood
If person follows this small advice
He will always be liked by almighty with grace
