Mad Dog Poem by Bernard Onoja

Mad Dog

Rating: 2.7

Tic-tac, the sound of time waiting for that perfect time, chewing sand or catching flies, charging at any man or animal on its path.

A single bite, then a journey to the throne. There the rabies virus reigns, activating nervous signs and madness.

Can all dogs be fallen by this merciless entity? A brilliant guess, a correct submission. Even her cousins and friends except those earlier primed to overcome.

Loss of dear ones, tales of woes. Causing to surrender, the struggles and victories of this beautiful life.

Wait and watch. Be smarter than the agent, as your cherished pet could patronize the culprit.
