M M X V... - Rev -

Rating: 5.0

Understanding the broad scope of all that has been
for two-hundred scores of years......probably more,
Is to realize that regardless of what the majority
of us wants, It is the minority who sets the stage
to the anathema we are of witness to, here and now.

What to do...or say, as words and actions own-
a place in Resolutions storyline. Yet, this be no
tell-tale story for image or impact, to please
the gods of poetry and war, for should this be so,
our Crosses would be far too anemic to withstand
the hatred and evil of our bastard enemies.

It is twenty-fifteen, and for two thousand years
we have lived our lives without wisdom for peace.
The year will continue as time knows no different.
But we do, and can do, still the question remains

Will we do what it takes using ''wisdom'' as arms-
to obtain a taste of peace before our clocks stop?

Every year that question tends to be the same some where in the world. Why I just don't know. Its neither a matter of means or knowledge but more of will that dictates what we do in matters of war and peace. Our greatest weakness is that sometimes we stand by and do nothing upon acts of horror that only media can describe quite right. Other times we go in guns blazing only to soon realize its really not whats needed. Just because you have capacity to accomplish so much doesn't mean you have the strength to not intervene in ways considered obscene. There are more kinds of help then teaching a kid how to use gun. Still there are some who are actually so sadistic they think war is actually fun. It is constant painful reminder of human quest for annihilation of a entire races heritage. Culture differences must be faced with a very delicate touch with utmost respect. There is no simple aspect of peace and prosperity. But that doesn't mean it isn't possible when compromise made. To this world we are all indigenous slaves from the moment of conception till the day we find our final resting place in our graves. It is our job with the time in between to make people see what being alive really means. Awe Inspiring Poem... Thanks for sharing. It gets you really thinking.

The short answer, sadly, is no. Are we capable of it...Probably. But as long as governments (Read, bastards with power) act on behalf of the vast majority that don't want anything to do with war or violence, it will l eventually destroy our planet long before our sun goes red giant. Either way, a nuclear reaction will be the end.
