Lying In A Sound-Proofed Atmosphere Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

At times preferring to lie back in a sound-proofed atmosphere,
continually hiding, not wanting to talk to anyone, just play
and listen to rhythms.

They constantly carry mind and intellect into faraway moments
where life exists in a solitary place, no one able to enter
its domain unless this being allows it.

Peaceful tranquility can only be accessed in the silence of
the soul's mind while music distracts beings from the sadness
and loneliness of this earthly life.
