Lust: The Lie of Love
Even the piano lied to me that night
That alone should have told me it wasn't right
Arrows dipped in a love potion from a full moon
Pierced my heart, went to my head and made me swoon
Deep down I knew better than to trust myself
I wish that elixir was back on the shelf
Instead, the magic was coursing all through my veins
As you with that Cheshire cat smile held those reigns
But I fell and I fell and I fell so fast
For a love, yeah for a love that could not last
