Loves War Poem by Rick Elpers

Loves War

Rating: 5.0

Love binds god and hell
Into the human equation
A fallen nature is our curse
A relation with god
Will save us eternally
But not daily
We suffer the dycotomy
Of both in one body and soul
Thus the war internally
That strikes deeply into every human action
Broken hearts result from this trouble
Almost as we aren't responsible
But we are
As our desire to love be loved
As possession we falter
To claim to hold to keep
But never to release
Which love demands
So we trouble ourselves
Into loneliness

Beautiful write which is so from the title to the tie up line.... i love the line (To claim to hold to keep) i have always believed that at times being in a relationship which is not working at a present moment can seem more lonely then being alone...tyvm karen
