Lovefool Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Lovefool

Certainly can not disregard the problem
You'd rather love me in secret
And just maybe it's because you are shy
But if you don't try
Telling me what the heart can offer
Then the moment you want to capture
Will be someone else's treasure to find
If telling doesn't do
only option left is to show
Nights I spend awake and wonder
What the heart so often ponders
Nothing you can do can have you escape
What's to be embraced
Give you the fever, so delirious
It wasn't so mysterious
You have eyes for only me
That's a feeling that won't go
Fool me, fool me
Why try and fool me?
Love me, love me
Come to you easy
Trust and believe me
What your heart needs
Is what it wants
