Love Taken Into Another's Heart Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Love Taken Into Another's Heart

Nights of passion and desire are never fulfilled, this
heart is empty, lonely and broken, no one ever coming,
because all promises have been torn to pieces.

Not a whisper of love, silence holding on throughout the
night, never opening to joy, a relationship that cannot
be furrowed out for there are no passageways left open.

Sorrow and sadness are all that's left in the wake of a
love that's been taken into another's heart, never again
to touch this heart of yesterday's beginnings for all has
finally ended.
